Madeleine Bucher

– Web Designer
Madeleine is driven to making technology easier to manage for passionate entrepreneurs. Starting a business is challenging enough without having the confusing world of technology holding you back.

Her passion for this work began 20 years ago. As a project manager of a global team, she needed a convenient method for sharing information with the group. That first website was efficient, easy to navigate, and available to team members around the world, 24×7.  As you may or may not remember, this was a very big deal back in 1997.

In 2002, she and her husband started a new company providing residential & commercial architectural services. Brian was the talent (excellent architect, BTW) and Madeleine provided the business and IT support. . . and another high-functioning website.  As other friends admired the results, Madeleine began overseeing their technology platforms (email, marketing, social media, website, etc.).

In her freelancing adventures, she’s learned it’s rarely just about creating a website. Technology is so intertwined these days that you need a big picture person who can dive down into the technical details without losing site of the overall objective.  This is especially important in a marketplace where the most cost-efficient choice usually involves the entrepreneur becoming responsible for design, strategy, AND implementation, which, let’s be honest, is a huge time-suck.  Madeleine is proud that One Grand Web offers such concrete, coherent value in terms of both the big game and the small details.

In her non-digital time, Madeleine’s favorite way to relax outdoors is to go hiking on the path less traveled. Indoors, give her some yarn, knitting needles, and Netflix and she’s in her Zen moment.
